About Us

Stand Up Malaysia is a movement founded by two young Malaysian women who strongly believe in the cause to fight against sexual and gender-based violence. With the rising number of cases occurring in Malaysia, the objective of this movement is to educate and raise awareness among the youth about gender-based violence through civic engagement, workshops, and social media content. Additionally, Stand Up’s aim is to advocate women and girls to stand up and fight any form of violence against them in order to build safe spaces where they live without fear or favor.
